They represent the most common type of benign intracranial tumor. With an annual incidence of approximately 2.3 to 6 per 100.000 persons, meningiomas account for approximately contagion 2011 13 to 26% of primary brain tumors in adult. Case Report : A 45-year-old man was admitted to the hospital with a decreased level of consciousness since 3 days prior to admission. He had 1-year contagion 2011 history of headache which had got worse since 3 months before admission. He also noticed right-sided weakness. Neurological examination revealed papil oedema, right hemipareses, increased deep tendon reflexes of right arm and leg, with positive Babinski signs. Laboratory results were not significant. Head CT Scan revealed intracranial SOL on the left frontal convexity. contagion 2011 Meningioma ?. The patient was consulted to the neurosurgery department, and was planned to undergo a surgery, but it was not done because of the family did not consent. Patient died after 3 weeks of hospitalisation. Discussion and Conclusion : Meningioma was diagnosed based on history of disease, clinical presentations and radiological features. The treatment consists of surgical resection, followed by radiation or chemoteraphy based on the grading. Meningioma ?.
