Diary of a clueless
At an event in San Francisco Lenovo has introduced a new ThinkPad Ultrabook. The T431s is the first with the new design: with - according to The Verge - a total of 26 optical changes will miss the Lenovo laptop division with the red TrackPad a more modern image and has let this also incorporated the views of customers.
The new ThinkPad prolotherapy brings, among other things on Windows 8 coordinated and illuminated keyboard, a lighter body color and new hinges to fold the screen up to 180 degrees backward to. In addition, the logo was rotated and removed the optical remote control buttons. The 21 mm high enclosure made of carbon fiber and magnesium promises stability and brings some 1.63 kilograms.
On the US site of Lenovo some technical details prolotherapy are already apparent. Accordingly, the ThinkPad T431s will be equipped with a 14-inch display with 1600 x 900 pixels, a touch screen option is not mentioned. So closely will be 8 then probably not cuddle with Windows for now. Many business customers is likely to be more important and the non-reflective surface. Nevertheless, seems a touch version in planning, as Engadget reports.

Space donates a HDD with up to 1 terabyte or SSD up to 256GB. prolotherapy That an Intel Core processor provides the processing power, prolotherapy it is clear, otherwise, the ThinkPad T431s is unlikely to decorate called Ultrabook. And as it should appear in April in the US, is the third generation of Core, for the Haswell chips are only just expecting the summer. The data sheet lists the models Core i5-3337U, i5-3437U and i7-3687U. The days of the VGA ports are numbered
At interfaces mentioned Lenovo two USB 3.0 ports, card reader, audio jack, a mini-DisplayPort and VGA. But the latter will disappear by 2015 as a Lenovo manager over Engadget commented. Sure it's a Ultrabook? I thought that would get at Lenovo a "u" at the end of the device name (but I can be wrong). Measured by the VGA port, it affects me but quite thick.
Well, I am one of the advocates prolotherapy of the classic ThinkPad designs. However, the changes go, it could have ended worse. However bothers me tremendously that the "real", separate TrackPoint buttons are gone. Of the intergrierten All-In-One touchpad solutions I really do not believe.
I no longer knew why I should buy a Thinkpad me. But that's just profit and capitalism logic: Easy maintenance options are of course buying a new one increasingly in the way.
Hopefully you use other than the touch pads in the new E-series. The rattle not only annoying, they also clicks not reliably. We think just return a whole lot, because the touchpad are simply unusable.
The predecessors were really getting a design total failure. I've always prolotherapy wondered who buys something anyway? The new design is better. However, a Desginpreis you will not win with it.
-> You value style / design you buy a computer from Apple (form> function) -> you value "getting shit done," Get a ThinkPad (form <function)
