Calcium osteopenia is found almost exclusively in the skeleton. Almost 99%, we find there while the remaining 1% is interchangeable in the body fluids. The absorption is regulated hormonally low calcium intake contributes to increased absorption while high calcium intake contributes to reduced absorption. The foods that contain the most calcium are milk and milk products. In the intestine increases the absorption of both calcium and phosphorus and bone metabolism increases the release of both calcium and phosphorus, which contributes to normal palsmanivåer of Ca2 +. High plasma levels of contrast decreases reabsorption of Ca2 +, while phosphorus osteopenia reabsorption increases. Prolonged deficiency leads to decreased bone mass -> osteopenia. Reduction of ground osteopenia substance and minerals -> Osteoporosis KALCITIONIN secreted from sköldkörtlen at high calcium levels in the blood.
