In Flanders, the number of registered cases of gonorrhea is increasing steadily in recent years. This is evident from the annual figures of the Flemish Agency for Care and Health. While 295 cases were reported in 2005, there were 762 in 2010 and 910 in 2011, also in the rest of Europe is increasing that number.
